Fashion is one of the key industries in Milan and this can be seen from the array of designers’ stores in the Quadrilatero d’Oro. There are also many thrifty stores selling more affordable but just as chic pieces in the city. There are endless quaint cafés and restaurants selling the freshest local dishes ranging from traditional stone baked spinach and ricotta pizza to tender sirloin steak. For desert, you have the option of homemade Gelato or in an abundance of mouth-watering flavours. After lunch, a walk around this historic city is a must with many attractions to vsit including the Gallerie d’italia piazza della Scala as well as numerous breathtaking cathedrals and museums.
Milan is simply beautiful at night with a wonderful theatre scene and numerous avant-garde displays to watch. Dinner al fresco is of course, a great option to end a blissful day of sun, sophistication and fashion.
